Hello, I’m Anna
I’m a project manager, a parent, and an expat based in Berlin, Germany.
Several years ago I moved here with my family. What began as a short-term assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to Germany wasn't part of the long-range plan. Like many expat relocations, it began with a work opportunity and quickly grew into something far larger.
The first months were demanding — new systems, new routines, new expectations. Everyday tasks felt more complex than they should.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. But gradually, routines took shape. We found places that suited us, met other families, and began building something that felt steady.
Why I Built Glaxan Okirne Levrom Ir
Most online information was either corporate relocation guidance or superficial tourism material. What was missing was an honest, everyday family perspective.
This site exists to fill that gap — practical guidance grounded in real life in Germany.
What This Site Represents (And What It Does Not)
This site is:
- Practical experience gained from living in Germany
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated whenever something truly changes
This site isn't:
- Not a tourism authority resource
- A platform for sponsored reviews
- Just another generic travel blog
Looking Ahead
Our time in Germany goes on, and so does the learning process. As long as the information remains helpful, I’ll continue documenting what we uncover.
If you have questions about family life in Berlin or anywhere in Germany, feel free to get in touch.
Best regards,
Anna
